What is Aerial Yoga?
Aerial Yoga is a unique practice that combines traditional yoga, Pilates & therapeutical movements that involve practising traditional yoga poses while suspended in a soft fabric hammock. This innovative approach allows you to experience anti-gravity benefits, decompression of the spine, and a deeper stretch for your muscles. It’s perfect for building strength, increasing flexibility, and promoting relaxation. The hammock supports your body, making it accessible for all fitness levels, and the sense of floating can enhance both mental and physical well-being.
Aerial Yoga for Relaxation and Fun
Looking for a way to de-stress and add some fun to your routine? Aerial Yoga is not just a workout; it's a delightful experience that promotes relaxation and joy. The sensation of floating in the air brings a sense of freedom and lightness, helping to calm the nervous system and lift your mood. Whether you're swinging gently in the hammock or exploring new poses, Aerial Yoga provides a playful, enjoyable way to practice mindfulness, improve flexibility, and connect with your body in a new way.

Geoffrey Campbell
I've just had the most amazing experience with Anja Weyel from Butterfly Fitness Aerial Yoga.
Regardless of how you feel about these things, I urge you to give it a try at least once.
I'm in chronic pain 24/7, for the brief few minutes I was completely suspended I felt no pain whatsoever, it was the best feeling in the world.
The yoga exercises are so easy on your body and you can near instantly feel a difference. I've gone for massages, gone to Chiropractors and more and none of them could give me the relief this did and that was just the first initial session.
This is not a promotion for the sake of promotion, this is truly one of the best things I've experienced for my chronic pain in decades.
